July in San Jose

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit the Cali family last week. It was so great to see everyone! In the evening we got to play with some sparklers and made fun shapes. Here are two of my fav. pics from the photo shoot we had. Can you read what we are attempting to spell?:

Yikes! Football teams punished by their county for losing!

The French "punishment" of flying coach on the way back home is pretty funny.

But the Iraq torture story is unbelievable!! Scary stuff.

I think it questionable that North Korea is allowed to compete in the World Cup

I really think a country with leadership so out of touch with the world and committing such heinous crimes against it's own people, should not be allowed the privilege of joining in on a sporting event where it is acknowledged as part of the world community. Especially when the players may have to face "re-education" for having the wrong mindset as a reason for their 7-0 loss to Portugal.

What are your thoughts?

Why Not To Buy An iPad

If you've been looking into an iPad, read this before buying. There is some overlap in these articles, but it gives you an idea of why the iPad is a deadend technology.

If you guys like internet radio, check out www.grooveshark.com. It's free and searchable. You can make your own library, playlists and favorites. As far as I'm aware, it also doesn't have audio adverts.
