Send Off Video
I just received this video late last night. Some friends of mine were sneaky and made a video send off behind my back. I was totally surprised, it was super nice of them. Check out the video to see some of the kooky crew in action.

Last night was the farewell dinner at my apartment in Brooklyn. It was tons of fun, Elaine made an appearance and got to meet the crew. Here's a short clip from the night. Also, my photographer friend, Minwin took pictures you can see on his website :

La Sangre del Presidente
This picture is pretty embarassing, not only am I smiling, but I am standing right next to the big W. I felt very guilty afterwards. Representing Habitat, we were not allowed to express any political opinions while the President was visiting. But if you look closely you can see that the president's right hand is bleeding. This is pretty funny, b/c we spent about three whole days making sure the site was the safest place on earth. Initially, we were gonna have him put up a flag holder but they thought he could mess that up so he just put a flag in the already hung flag holder. Later he proceeded to wipe his bloody hand on the sleeve of our unsuspecting and kind-hearted med-tech. Yeah, he did not leave the best impression. Just wanted to share the story and the pic.
Jimmy Carter is coming this weekend! Sad I'm gonna miss him, he's a pretty amazing guy.

Buddhist Scientists
I thought some of you might find this
ARTICLE on Salon.com interesting. It talks about Buddhism and Science. I'm not totally sold on some of what he says, but I did find it interesting to read. I'd like to know what Grandma thinks about what this guy states.

We went rock climbing the Friday after Thanksgiving. Sorry I don't have pics of everyone. My camera ran out of space!
Shaking the tree
Katie shook the trees as we tried to catch the falling leaves. It was a fun fall game.
Nola/Jimbang!!!!!
Hello all!! for the family out there that have not gotten to meet our new puppy. . .this is a picture of her! I found her on the streets of New Orleans in an abandoned area of town. I brought her back to the ATL for Thanksgiving. She is pretty great. We are still a little up in the air with her name. We're down to two names. Jim Bang (because she looks like a little dumpling) and Nola (short for new orleans, LA). Chris thinks Nola is too prissy. Any opinions?

Don't take it personally
Hey Chris!
I just went to LA this weekend to visit Jason and my parents. My mom and dad don't know/ can't figure out how to access the site or post. . . I'm going to show them at Thanksgiving!

Archival Footage
Hullo Familia,
This is the short video I made of the Tahoe trip last year. It was originally meant to be a preview trailer, but I didn't have enough footage to make a longer finished version. Anyways, here you go.

Crazy New City
hello family!
Life in NYC has been a lot of fun. The first week, I hated the city -- so dirty, so hot, so much walking. It's so different from Atlanta and Providence. But, after my first five weeks of being in the city and three weeks of work (wow gasp!), I am really starting to like this place. The heat has subsided, and as a result the stinky stench of garbage is less distinct. And, the upside to walking is being able to eat whatever I want! (I did, however, go through a purging of my shoe collection. I threw away any shoe that was not extremely comfortable! This is so exciting because there are so many good eats here. I already have a few favorites that you must visit when you come to crash at my place! Mercadito is an amazing mexican tapas place with the best shrimp ceviche and an amazing mushroom app. Australian makes homemade (or store made) ice cream, sorbet, and chocolates. IT is diving. And, there is a restaurant that serves only mac and cheese. I've only really explored the east village, but I'm excited to delve into the rest of Manhattan. I'm still in shock at how much life costs! Food and rent are my primary expenses.
I've been hanging out a lot with my roomie and my second cousin on my dad's side, Dave. They are both a lot of fun. And, my mom has come to visit three times in my five weeks here! I've been so lucky!! I've seen Chris a couple of times. One time was a complete fluke. I was walking home one night from dinner and some drinks, and as I was passing a bar, Chris was stepping out to make a phone call. It was pretty awesome!!
I really miss college, but work has been very good (so far). Before my first day, I was extremely nervous, but becuase my managers are so super nice, I was put to ease. I'm off to training on Sunday in Chicago for 10 weeks. Then, after I get back, the real grind begins. I'm working in the apparel group of the mid-corporate bank at JPMorgan. So far, I've just been having fun learning about the industry. Half the time, I've been looking up stores and essentially been going online shopping (minus the actual buying). Sunday morning, I'm running the Komen Breast Cancer 5K, and them I'm off to Chicago. The last time I was there was visiting A. Wilma back in the day. . . (if you have any suggestions on eats or fun stuff, let me know!)
whew. that's a lot, but life's so crazy right now. it seems as if the fab four is growing up!
love and miss you!

The internet is not ready for this jelly.
So after a crazy dinner with the relatives @ WD-50 in the lower east side, it has been decided that The "Familia Lee" is in need of an online forum to air out grievances, proclamations of love, dirty laundry, and what not.
I'll be the first to start.
I never liked Auntie Michelle's ratatouille. Sorry. Never have and never will, nothing personal.
Oh and I love all yous guys. Ew. So mushy. I just threw up in my mouth a little.
